The blanket Toskaft was designed based on the theme past-present, and inspiration was found in a photograph of curtains designed by Annelise Knudtzon for Roros Tweed in the 1970s.
Polmar was inspired by simple and straightforward fabric and attracted to its everyday expression.
Polmar's design is based on classical weaving techniques, translated into a contemporary and clean expression. The stitches work as building blocks, or pixels, in a graphic composition. The different color versions provide the same pattern with very different looks, from discreet neutrals to more colorful and playful.
